Breakfast provision was excellent - good variety and lots of fresh fruit etc. Afternoon tea was superb!
Reception staff could be better trained, maybe. We were initially sent to the wrong room - the chap on the desk was quite incompetent on the two occasions we had to deal with him. All the other staff we found to be excellent.
The room was beautiful. 11th floor overlooking Pershing Square was lovely. Staff are just terrific.
Nothing about this hotel to complain about. Spot on.
The decoration and the history of the building.
The bed is too small to be comfortable.
Gorgeous old world charm and history, good breakfast, good location, excellent staff
Beds and pillows were not as comfy as other hotels I’ve stayed at
Hotel is in Downtown, but the area is full of homeless people . Don't go there if you are traveling with kids, in evenings can be scary. Location close to restaurants.
Beds are smaller than they look and we had to upgrade, but the rooms to street are noisy, old windows. Rooms bit dated, need refurbishment. I was charged more than I should have been, even that I asked clerk that I want to leave as our schedule changed and also we didn't like the hotel+location. Initially he said all was ok, then they asked us for a fee. we had to call booking.com. They gave us an invoice for 750 $, but have charged us 250$ more and don't want to cooperate with booking to solve the situation. I have given the evaluation they deserve.
