Comfortable, big room, great location: a few minutes to the British Museum, metro stations, shops, bars and restaurants, quiet neighborhood, super clean, delicious breakfast and very nice and helpful staff. Everything as described and really nice, good place :)
Lovely staff, great location, great value for money. Good breakfast and a nice library for relaxing. I really enjoyed my stay at the Penn Club.
The room didn't have an en-suite bathroom.

The peace, very little noise
Located minutes from London’s Russel Square Underground Station, The Penn Club is a bed and breakfast that operates as a Members Club and is built around its Quaker mission. Open to all, it puts a traveler within minutes of such hallowed London destinations as the British Library and the British Museum, the University of London, Bloomsbury Square, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and more. London’s Heathrow Airport is only 15 miles away and amazing shopping can be found less than 500 feet from the property along Oxford Street.
And while the location alone is a good reason to choose the hotel, it provides a surprising number of amenities and services that add to its appeal. It features TV lounge, airport shuttles, laundry and business services (both for a fee), games, a library and free internet service throughout. Because it is a bed and breakfast, it also provides visitors with access to a shared kitchen. Yet, there is also breakfast served daily and a great deal of attention is given to food requirements and needs. There are also self-service laundry facilities available.
There are 43 bedrooms available, and each is meant to be a home away from home with climate controls, hot beverage stations stocked with tea and coffee supplies, full-sized desks with lamps and comfortable chairs, daily housekeeping, bathroom linens, and many are ensuite. For those without baths, each floor of the hotel features a shower and full supplies of toiletries. Centrally located, the Penn Club is a convenient, home-like accommodation.
