Breakfast was the best we had in Europe. Staff was great. Room was comfy. Great location near tube and attractions. Would stay there again.
Bimal was incredibly helpful.
The rooms were VERY small. We switched from a postage stamp sized room to one with another 10 square feet. The cleaning staff talked loudly on their cell phones as they went from room to room.
Excellent stay at the Vanderbilt
Everything was great, from the room, the location and the staff. I have never experience a more friendly or helpful staff. They were definitely there to make sure we were happy and comfortable, and they did a wonderful job!
Very clean. Friendly staff, quiet room.
Single room was small, and did not have a dresser, only a closet. The bed was kind of hard.
breakfast! also peace & quiet and proximity to Tube and other amenities
sulphurous smell from bathroom, not from my use of the facilities but even coming into the room after a day out
The Radisson Edwardian Vanderbilt breakfast was very very good indeed. Great choice, perfectly cooked and great service
No Cold Water in the rooms.
Staff were friendly and attentive, bar food was excellent quality and value for money, room was high standard
breackfast and it's service is excelleny
bell captain arranged taxi, seems to be an unlicenced taxi. they don't have a meter and want to hard sell
location was good and room/staff were good
room was a bit small but only what one has to expect with a central london hotel in this style
Incredibly small room. Also smely.
Lift works badly
intial room I was allocated was tiny, but they were happy to move me when I complained
The staff were great and really responsive to my needs and requests.
I thought the room decor and bathroom facilities were over priced when compared with other market offers
For visitors to London’s Kensington or Chelsea neighborhoods, the Radisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt is a wonderful option. A registered historic building, it dates to the 1800s and has managed to retain all of its antique charm while merging it with modern convenience and comfort. Located just steps from the Gloucester Road Tube Station, it is five minutes from Knightsbridge and almost in sight of Royal Albert Hall. Favorite destinations such as the Imperial College, Royal College of Art, Victoria & Albert Museum, and Hyde Park are all within a mile.
While such a wonderful location is certainly appealing, the hotel is also amenities-rich and features such options as an in-house restaurant that serves afternoon teas, Sunday roasts, and classic British cooking. It also makes room service available as well as daily breakfasts. There is a full business service center, in-room spa options, concierge and 24-hour front desk, a mobile “virtual” host, dry cleaning and laundry, a fitness center, ticketing services, and more.
There are 200 standard rooms, 11 business-class rooms, 13 family rooms and one luxurious suite available. All of the rooms are decorated in an opulent style and feature marble baths, premium linens, and signature toiletries. They also have mini-fridges, climate controls, hot beverage systems, free Wi-Fi, and sitting areas. Business rooms have work desks and are suited to inviting colleagues to meet in the small meeting room just off the main sleeping area.
Whether it is a business trip or a holiday to London, the Radisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt offers an unforgettable location, wonderful British food, and premium services that ensure a deeply satisfying stay.
