Location is hidden amongst high end residential area so it is quiet and safe. Hard for Uber to find, 10 minutes walk to Blackwall DLR station, but 20 min walk to Canary Wharfs (underground) station. It is at least 37 min train ride to City of London and other attractions. Breakfast not included. Bills for Breakfast and bar are charged separately; I am still working on correcting it after returning to my own country; quite irritating. With package price from Expedia.com, the room I was offered faced away from river view and was awaken up by 30 minuets of garbage truck working (one of the 4 mornings I was there).
lower price per night is offset by long commutes to anywhere
Staff is incredibly helpful and genuinely positive. Place is modern and clean; full marks for a modern well-tech'ed hotel. Restaurant was very workable and even took a date there...
the location is VERY FAR from anything tourist or business in London. Low-rates on room/night is swallowed in higher taxi (ridiculous), better-but-still-exorbitant Uber (could live with and did) or complicated-time-consuming options (uber or taxi to canary-wharf station, go to this line, change, go to that line, etc). Hotel Advice: Have pro-active information (like email) warning customers of extreme prices to get-anywhere, and suggest mediating ways to get a better "total cost of ownership" to the customer. Having a hotel-guard stop all traffic in seems an unnecessary step...too.
RECEPTION and CONSIERGE staff very efficient and pleasant
Breakfast facilities very poor. Had to eat off coffee table in bar as insufficient space in restaurant. Food constantly running out and not replaced quickly enough. I requested marmalade and waited 10 minutes only to be given jam!!! Staff seemed stressed and overworked. Not a good experience overall.
The waiters/waitresses in the restaurant. The facilities in the disabled bathroom were excellent
We arrived with our e-mail booking correctly filled in, the receptionist could find no record of it. Luckily they had plenty of space.
we were very well looked after on saturday evening by a fantastic girl who worked the bar & restaurant called Polina & would like to thank her- she is a credit to your hotel.
When we arrived we were informed the twin room we requesyed and had prepaid was not available so were forced to upgrade to a suite, having booked 3 months in advance this to us was unsatisfactory. They said we should book direct rather thanusing booking .com. Also all the extras at the hotel were overpriced for the mid quality services recieved. We will never use Radison again nor will our company.
The pillows are fantastic!
Unhelpful staff. Asked to have a sofa bed made up in the room, and 6hours later at 11pm at night it was still unmade. No apology forthcoming. Free shuttle bus to canary wharf only runs between 6.40am and 9.20am. When inquiring about this service we were only told that it ran every 20 mins from 6.40am so when we came to use it at 11am it wasn't running. Again, no apology from staff for not being given correct information. Not that easy to get to the O2 arena. Takes a long time in a taxi and costs quite a lot, not that near the tube.
Cleanliness was good
We were given terrible directions to get to the HOTEL.We were dragging cases for an hour trying to find the place. Staff need to be trained to give proper directions on the phone
It is a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
Not so much didn't like but assumed from the description that it was walking distance from the O2 only to find that by distance yes but in practice no. Train and tube were no problem but maybe the hotel could consider a shuttle to the O2?
yes i found on the 6th floor, i didnt know how to find the lift to get downstairs, i walked 6 floors down, you should have clear signs showing where the lifts are, signs were not available at all.
very new and modern
price of mini bar
Relaxing
The hotel was of excellent standard, the decore was very stylish and the staff had superb customer service. The food in the azure resturant was of excellent quality, compliments to the chef. We had a very special stay we would recommend the hotel to friends.
