Everything in our stay was super. Summarizing: - the room was big enough for the 4 of us, the kids' bed was large and comfortable, we didn't to worry about them during the night. Also our bed was big and comfy - the room and bathroom were very clean - good heater and no worries related to room temperature on this time of the year - very friendly staff, from the guys in reception to the ones in the restaurant - very good breakfast with wide range of products and options - very good location, only 50 m from Tower Hill Underground and 200 from London Tower - good restaurant at the ground floor with very good food for dinner - there is also a small corner with stuff for kids to play at the ground floor, to keep them busy while you wait downstairs
Housekeeping was one of the worst I have even encountered. We were 3 in a room, and I had to call for an extra towel every single day, and it took an hour and at least 2 phone calls to achieve the request. we received 2 small body gels for the entire stay of 4 nights for 3 ppl. It wasn't replenished every day. No cotton pads, tips, shower cap, just like a road side motel. We made tea the 1st day, the cup wasn't removed for 3 days, stayed full.
The location was perfect and the room I had was quite big with Tower Bridge view.
I was there for five days and the dirty glass and spoon from day one were there until the last day, also the carpet was quite dirty, cleaning could be improved. Breakfast was ok but the staff should pay more attention to the buffet and filling up missing things. On my last day I had to wait in the lobby for a while and it is not comfy at all, also there is no possibility to charge a phone or a laptop in the lobby. For the money I would expect more.
The sneaky lift at the the back that lead you to the food room
The pull out beds were very hard and not very comfy
Location and potentially a very nice hotel
Checked in late for room 539. We should never have been put in this room, nor should anyone else. The sink plug was jammed with dirty water sat in the sink, totally unacceptable standard of health and hygiene. The sink components has become detached. I should have addressed it with staff but we were so late in Arriving we just wanted to sleep. Also, there were no sheets or bed linen for the 3rd bed which was slightly uncomfortable.
