Location was good but the view from the 7th floor balcony disappointing. Especially as we had to go and get someone to open the doors to let us out there in the first place!
Queues at reception. Needing to get someone to open the balcony door
Lobby bar is incredible, almost didn't want to leave the hotel. Gym was nice as well, 24/7. Overall great hotel, just not a ton of pubs around it. Would always rather stay in Covent Garden area if possible.
We wanted a room with 2 twin beds and a view of the tower bridge (as shown in the pictures) the twin beds were pushed together ... so whats the point? Also, the view was a brick wall ... everything else was great, just a shame they don't have more rooms with a nice view.
Really appreciated having the separate shower and bath, plus having Sky tv was great! it's in a brilliant location off a main road but still easy to find.
The bed wasn't as comfy as I expected.
Stay on booking.com said minibar included. No mini bar in the room. When asked this at reception-the member of staff said this was only for deluxe rooms only!
The hotel was lovely and we were welcomed by the Front Desk who was very helpful and friendly. Room was nice and very clean.
The staff in the bar/restaurant area were not friendly at all. The breakfast staff looked like it was a chore to be there. The service its self was good but you do expect a smile or some form of engagement from staff.
