The shower is great, service very good and staff friendly! Great coffee and tea in the room. Good location in beautiful area.
The bed was to soft, did not sleep well. We were in a room in the basement. We had a Window but look out at ugly garbage place,we closed the curtains. there was this sound of a machine making noice at night and in early morning, very annoying. You pay a lot of money, i think these things are not acceptabele because of the price.
The location, cleanliness and staff were top notch. The coffee and pastries were a really nice touch.
The mattress felt like it was probably nearing a change. The window didn't open so you couldn't get fresh air.
The staff were great and seemed happy to help and the location is very handy.
I don’t know what the other rooms are like but I booked a single room as I simply needed somewhere to sleep that was fairly central and had no intention of spending much time in the room. I wasn’t expecting a huge space as this is central London and I’d booked a single room option but what I got was ridiculously small. You could barely even move in there! To my sheer amazement and disbelief I then also discovered that there was no toilet facility in the room! I had to go downstairs to the reception for staff to advise me that there is a private toilet for that room but it’s on the level below so I’d have to exit the room and go down the communal stair case before being able to use the toilet. Weirdest set up I’ve ever encountered in a hotel! I’m sure the double rooms are nice and I imagine have all the basic facilities you’d expect to find in a mid price range hotel but I wouldn’t recommend the single room and would probably look for another hotel next time I need one or book a double room.
Location is really good and the area is nice. Staff was friendly and the room was nice, but just quite small.
The price wasnt the best for a room that small, but maybe I reserved too late.
The rooms had a coffee machine
We've booked a room with a cot since we were travelling with a 14 month old baby. The day before (!) the hotel called us to say that they don't have a cot but we've been upgraded to a king size bed. A cot costs 30 gbp at Argos but the hotel chose not to buy one. unreal. Our daughter is a little tasmanian devil and it was rough. The 'upgraded' room was in the basement and the hotel has no ramp and no elevator so it was a fun time for daddy carrying the pram up and down. To add insult to injury, after we've expressed our disappointment the hotel manager promised a 25% discount on the fee due to the inconvenience caused but that was left as a promise only. Nor refund, no nothing. This hotel could be ok for couples only. That's it.
