breakfast was simple but nice. Good price and great location. Not an expensive hotel but it really needs some refurbishment in the common areas. Overall, I was happy with my stay.
too many steps to go up - it should be stated as some people might have mobility issues. The floor in the toilet wasn't very clean.
We liked walking the neighborhood which was historic, it was close to Kensington Gardens, Kensington Palace and the metro. The access to restaurants was good. Tastes of India was are favorite place to eat dinner, make sure you make a reservation online. It does busy!
Several flights of stairs that were not easy to get baggage up. The room, shower was very small and musty smelling. The free WiFi was only in the lobby which was an inconvenience for researching your daily activities.
Good location and relatively cheap. Tube not far away.
Tiny room - couldn’t swing a mouse let alone a cat! My room at top of four stairs, mug of it winding and narrow - almost impossible to carry my suitcase up it. Shower was dreadful - hardly any water. No WiFi in room - only in reception. Generally the place is awful and I will never return.
Given its location, can't argue with price.
The finishing of the room, specifically the bathroom, was really botched DIY, giving it a really shabby impression.
Quiet and green location, close to parks, Kensington Palace, Royal Albert Hall, local shops and restaurants and underground. Breakfast ok
There was no lift - 83 steps to our room on 4th floor. (96 from our room to breakfast room) You need to be quite fit to stay here. There were no rooms with wheelchair access. My husband who is 72 years old found it very tiring to walk up all these steps after our long journey,
