Room very clean, extremely comfortable bed, staff friendly & courteous, well positioned for public transport. Easy access to central London on foot
Towel for shower rather small
I love that they have rooms of different styles and accommodation type to suit all sorts of travelers - I've stayed in a three bed with ensuite with friends and a single room with shared facilities, both stays were perfect for my needs. The included hot breakfast is the perfect way to start your day and figure out where to set off to that morning. And the location could not be better! A quick walk to King's Cross / St. Pancras stations that quickly get you anywhere you want to go via the Tube and National Rail systems.
This was my second time staying at Crescent Hotel and it was as good as I remembered. Cosy place, great location near King's Cross, and kind staff that could accommodate my vegeterian diet requirements.
It would be great if breakfast time could be prolongue, since 9/9.30 am is quite early...
Room very small.
The hotel was spotless, and very inviting. Lovely ambience, tasteful charming décor, couldn't fault the interior. Lady on reception was friendly and welcoming; gave me some fresh milk as I don't like the plastic tubs of milk. I also cant get my head round why its called a Hotel, when they only serve Breakfast - surely that's a B&B.
The extractor van kept going off (somewhere external to Room 34 - single room) as I was trying to sleep, I would not stay in that room again. Terrible. Pillows were hard (perhaps fuller pillows are my personal preference though), and the mattress felt like it was on slight tilt. Burnt rock hard Bacon, didn't / couldn't eat it. Stay away from Room 34 and you'll be content here. I also cant get my head round why its called a Hotel, when they only serve Breakfast - surely that's a B&B.
