Clean with very friendly and helpful staff.
Location and price.
The hostel was very clean. The bathrooms were cleaned every few hours. There was a nice mix of travelers, young and old, people travelling in groups and lone travelers. There were also young families and babies. Lots of people ,lots of activity. At night ,there was added security in the building. I was very happy with the Generator Hostel.
The mornings were rough .You had to time it right to get a sink in the bathroom. Everyone seemed to need the showers at the same time. You just have to try to avoid the busy times.
A good experience
It was all clean, the staff is nice and there is a good mood there
They didn't provide padlock for luggage lockers
The atmosphere was amazing, the common areas were decorated impeccably, the staff were genuinely friendly, and the ground floor had enough chill out/get rowdy/eat food areas that a) you could always find a space suitable for your mood, and b) the rooms stayed quiet and peaceful. Also, the number of outlets was astounding, and the WiFi excellent, even though my room was on the fifth floor.
The toilets were backed up a few times. It was always fixed quickly, but the frequency of blockages was a little concerning.
Location was great, café downstairs was fine.
It was loud, hard to get sleep at night. I could hear my neighbors through the walls and when the doors shut it is really loud and echoes down the hallway.
The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The prices are the best compared with others. The breakfast was always served in time and wasperfect.
Cleanliness in the bathroom quite poor, one day there was not even hot water for the shower...
the bathroom was clean, honestly didnt expect that !!! and the staff were very helpful, and the hostel in general was secure. i would diffinetly stay there again in my next visit.
friendly staff, free wifi, excellent location.
The efficient re-action of the staff.
The floor carpet is very dirty. The electirc plug is not enought. There are obly two plugs for 4-bed room.
It was cheap.
It was loud and smoky.
creak of the bed
nice, friendly staff. Very good services.
I liked the help provided about tours and anything needed during my stay. I also like having a club and bar in the hotel it was great>

All rooms are also nonsmoking. Note that there are female-only dorms available. A limited number of private twin rooms are available, as well.
While the rooms might provide only basic amenities, the property itself offers quite a lot. For instance, there is a café on site. There is also a travel shop where guests can pick up sundries and such. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property, and there is also a bar here where guests can grab a quick drink. The laundry area offers self-service cleaning, and there is event space on offer, too. Luggage storage and a chill-out area complete the picture.
While the hostel does offer a café on property, guests will also find there are over 150 restaurants within less than a half-mile’s walk. These include Aux Pains de Papy, and Albertini Restaurant for Italian fare. Cappadocia is an Italian café, while Pizza Sophia also serves up Italian fare. Other options include The Banc, Patisserie Deux Amis, and North Sea Fish Restaurant.
