Nice but small
The room isn’t bad, it’s a renovation of an older spot , it’s just a bit shoebox like. The bathrooms are not only the size of a closet, but have an open shower, so bring some dip flips if you plan to stay more than one night.
I went through the trouble of pre-authorizing a credit card so that the guest wouldn't have to pay onsite, and they charged the guest anyway. This is not the first time that their reservations department and front desk have totally failed me.
Staff are friendly & the breakfast is gorgeous
The bedroom was very small & you had to stand on a slant to have a shower
Great location, close to underground. Quiet. Very helpful staff. We would stay again.
We loved the hotel
The hotel was nice and tidy, the most important features. The breakfast was excellent.
Our matters was a bit defective and my room window don't close tight 100% sometime you feel the cold wind from the window. My room was 317. We had another couple with us who's room was much better then us.
The staff was outstanding! Allways willing to go above and beyond in order to help out. Very impressive indeed!
Large nicely decorated lobby
Location across from Hyde park and walking distance to museums
Room temperature too hot Room small
So noisy...I was awake most of the night!
The hotel itself is quite nice. Good location and the staff are quite pleasent. But we had a room at the back of the hotel where all during the night, people were walking past our room laughing loudly. Now normally this wouldn't have bothered me but we had a window that wouldn't close properly so was quite noisy. Also a lot of doors bangin on our floor most of the night so a very noisy night indeed. It's a shame because we stayed at this hotel before and we had a fantastic room but this time wasn't the best.
Location was great. Lobby of the hotel was very impressive. Nice touch with the piano player.
Really small single beds. Room was small also . The view from the window was appalling industrial bins and rubbish everywhere only looked out once and then closed the curtains.
If location is all that matters, it's okay.
Proximity to the Tube is very good. Check in and out is quick. That's all the positives that come to mind.
Dirty room. Needs paint inside and out. Wifi very slow. No energy from staff. Drink at the bar was in a dirty glass. I will not stay here again.
Great location, very convenient to get to the Underground. Room was clean, and there was central air with a thermostat in the room. Staff was helpful. Hyde park is right across the street. Neighborhood is nice, pretty easy to get around.
Room with double bed was very small. Not much room to walk around in. Fine if you're only using the room for sleeping. Complimentary Wi-fi is slow, have to keep logging in every time you return to the hotel.
Location was nice
Could have a nicer bar area. Piano playing annoying after awhile.
A four star hotel across the street from London's stately Hyde Park, the Corus Hotel Hyde Park is the company's flagship London outpost, accessible to all of central London. Heritage at Hyde Park Get a taste of London history with a stay at the Corus Hotel Hyde Park, beautifully maintained in a 200-year-old heritage Georgian building. The 389 guestrooms come in various layouts to suit everyone from solo travelers to families. The rooms have a modern aesthetic and complimentary wireless Internet access. The Corus has two on-site restaurants. Olio’s Bar & Brasserie serves full English breakfast in the mornings and traditional tea every afternoon. Bel Canto - Opera Dinners Restaurant, meanwhile, offers a unique dining experience, as all the servers are budding opera singers (yes, they will burst into famous arias at your table). Additional facilities include a fitness center, business center, and meeting rooms. London at your Fingertips Some of London's most iconic neighborhoods and best shopping are just a stroll away, including Oxford Street and the hip Portobello Road Market. Go-to neighborhoods like Notting Hill and Shepherd's Bush are quickly accessible on the Underground. And there's no need for a taxi or rental car, since the Lancaster Tube station is just 0.1 mile from the Corus Hotel Hyde Park's doorstep.
