Terrible place - DO NOT RECCOMEND
The only reason I liked the place was because it was affordable. Close to underground.
Rude manager, my heat wasn’t working and he wouldn’t switch my room. Tiny rooms which weren’t clean, my bed was stained.
Good location near a tube stop and some restaurants.
First room given to us was on the ground floor. Room had soiled carpet, paint peeling from the walls, cracks in the walls just about everywhere, unpatched dents in the plaster in several locations, and a giant hole in the bathroom wall. Complained about this room to the front desk and demanded a new room. Front desk staff were rude about it - 'well you reserved a standard room' - but relocated us to to a room in the BASEMENT. New room was cleaner, and probably recently updated. However, the only ventilation is a screen-less window that opens at a right angle above the head of the (extremely uncomfortable) bed -- watch your head! There is also a small dinette directly outside of the window where smokers from the residence in the alley behind the hotel like to sit, so no privacy, either. Electrical box above the door hums as long as power is provided to it. Cleaning staff do not acknowledge the existence of the 'do not disturb' light and disturb anyway.
Breakfast was good. Location good.
First room was at the basement next to the server room. It was noisy and there was draft from the wondow. Was moved to a better room the second night.
The hotel is small but is fitted with modern facilities. The staffs are helpful & flexible. Breakfast selection is good
Elevator is too small
