This resort is about 4 miles south of Mandalay Bay and the Luxor; the Las Vegas Outlet Center mall is 1 mile, and the Callaway Golf Center is 2 miles away.
dissapointedPros: The pool grounds were nice. You could tell they take care of the upkeep for that area. As well, the bar staff was super friendly.Cons: Overall dissapointed with my stay. When I checked in it was smooth, but I had to wait till 5 pm to check into my room. After check in, I was harassed about not wanting to buy a timeshare. I tried to use the Business center and the fax and printer machine was not working. When I tried asking for assistance. No one could assist me.
My new secret place to stay in Las VegasPros: My sister has been coming to Cancun for years and loves it. This was my first stay, and it's great. I like that it's off the strip and is family oriented. I love the beautiful, green grounds with nice trees, and the wonderful pools. The bed was so perfect, and the price was good. Also, this area of town feels safe, so I don't worry so much about my car overnight.Cons: I don't like that the staff is in my face trying to sell me packages, etc. I even got I phone call on my room phone, and--say my last name is Jones--I answered tentatively, and the person said, "Is this the Jones residence?" Without first saying that he was with the hotel trying to sell me something. I, being a lone woman, was freaked out that someone had my name and room number. And then when I realized it was one of the Cancun salespeople, I was a bit annoyed.
Pros: Pool was niceCons: My only issue with this hotel/resort is the cleanliness. Upon our arrival, first thing I look at is how clean the hotel is, that’s what matters most to me. After a quick inspection of the place to kind of see if everything works properly, we found the living room sofa had unknown white stains on it, we had to cover it up with a huge blanket to even sit on it. The master bathroom floors were dirty and bathroom towels had hairs on them . Toilets and bathroom sinks kept clogging so we had to call the maintenance department to take care of the problem. There was also some electrical issues going on because every time I hit the main living room, it shocked me a few times. No good. The carpet in the dining room/living room was stained. It had a huge stain of what I can only assume was coffee that was spilled all over it. It had obviously not been cleaned because no one ever bothered to clean it up. When I spoke to the receptionist before our arrival, he said to me the suite had been cleaned and was ready for us. Is that their idea of a welcome? My take is, no matter how nice it seems on the exterior and how big the pool is, if the rooms are not clean, I’m not staying here again.
Business stayPros: Spacious, comfortable, free Wi-FiCons: Did not know about a $22.40 so called "usage fee" that was charged at check-in. Did not appreciate that at all.
Beautiful getaway Pros: I loved the seclusion from the Vegas strip
And the privacy from other rooms and guests
Cons: Parking was the only issue. With that said only because of the heat
Pros: The experience was amazing
Will try to sell you a vacation planPros: The staff was friendly and attentiveCons: We did not know that this was a hotel that is part of Diamond Resorts and that upselling you was there primary purpose. We would not have stayed here if we knew that. They had 3 stars on Yelp which was the primary reason for staying
Pros: Pool was greatCons: Staff needed to look more professional
Room service took forever
Not everyone in staff smiled or said hello
Room needed to be updated
Good off strip locationPros: Beautiful hotel and we liked having a kithenetteCons: Extra 20.00 per night fesort fee on checkin and pressured to listen to timeshare seminar
Great family resort in VegasPros: Excellent value for the price - Kayak saved a lot of money, getting a double/double room. Huge room, family friendly (great pool and no gambling), kitchenette well stocked
Great resort !Pros: Real friendly staff , nice accomodations , beatifull poolCons: Restaurant people dropped the ball , not as friendly
Family vacationPros: This was the first time we went to vegas with our kids. We loved the resort the pool was great well eveything was. The bad thing is the strip is far so after the kids fall asleep you are too relaxed to make the journey to the strip lol.
