Nothing- I’ll never use National again, or Rentacars.com

Cons:

I made the reservation to pick up the car at OGG in Maui. The reservation kicked me over to pick up at the airport in West Maui, without my knowledge. When I discovered this three days before my trip, I tried to call and remedy the situation. No cars were available at OGG, which I understand, due to low inventory. The real clincher was when I told the National office in West Maui that I wouldn’t be able to pick up for an hour later than originally planned, due to now having to take an expensive Uber to get there after landing. They told me I was out of luck since the office closes at 5pm. I was basically screwed. I had to make a new reservation at Avis (last minute) for $800 more, which pretty much ruined my vacation.

Pros:

That we got a Chevy blazer instead of a Ford Focus and was able to return it to the airport.

Cons:

No body answered the phone when we tried to get an Uber and couldn’t. Was told there was drop off service but couldn’t get a hold of anyone. We had to take a bus and walk to her the car and after arriving found the person on her cell phone with no customers.

The locations were good, car was very clean, infotainment was updated

Cons:

The lot from the desk to picking the car was far away at the Hyatt location. They gave us the keys and told us to honk the horn to find it after a 5 minute walk to the lot with the cars

Dont rent from Hyatt in Maui, the customer service is horrible. Waited over an hour and per rep it was my fault.
