Pros: Everything

Pros: Good location, excellent gym equipment, lovely large double bed with quality bedding, spacious apartment.

Cons: Noisy neighbours in the apartment below. The noise of scraping chairs, children screaming and running around thudding on the floors was very irritating. We were surprised the sound echoed through to our apartment above.

Pros: Very nice location, above the cliff, 3 swimming pools on site. Good looking hotel, and well equiped apartments.

Cons: Kids club closed during weekend. Gym closed early (was closed at 18.20).

Pros: I really enjoyed the location and walking along the cliff-side paths each day!

Pros: Pool area. With free towels. Excellent breakfast

Cons: The only complaint is the Jacuzzi/Shower which was all in one was extremely difficult to get into in the apartments. The tub was too high to climb and there wasn't any hand rails for safety. Not recommended for elderly people, people with disabilities or anyone!

Pros: This hotel is located within walking from some beautiful views and beaches. The apartments are spacious and well-appointed. The gastro pub is pretty good and restaurant staff were great. The room rates were affordable.

Cons: This is not a particularly service-oriented hotel. No list of activities. It is not oriented toward beach activities but the pools (only one of which is heated and the towels were not picked up at the one near us for days). The property is not nice to look at despite being in a beautiful area of Portugal. We spent as much time as we could away from the hotel. If you have kids of any age, I would pay the extra money for Martinhal resort. We wish we had done the same.

Cons: OUTSIDE BAR WAS POOR. FOOD IN THE ITALIAN PIZZERIA WAS POOR, PRE MADE AND MICROWAVED. HOUSEKEEP;ING WAS DISORGANISED

Pros: Great location for visiting the beach and nearby restaurants. The pool was very nice and spacious. A good place to relax. The breakfast buffet was outstanding.

Cons: Getting into the village required a Taxi.

Pros: The outdoor pool was great,though outdoor bar could do with customer service training! This time of the year was not ideal (October) to enjoy outdoor pool. The bar could do with more variety of food. Otherwise great vale for money for holiday stay.

Cons: Outdoor bar and Italian restaurant food could do with improvement.

Cons: The Check in took 30 mins which I found very excessive, the hotel i thought was going to be ore family friendly but on half term week there were only a handful of families there but a lot of older customers, the mini club therefore wasn't on as there weren't;'t enough children, and as far as I could see the entertainment program wasn't really functioning. The indoor pool was a Spa so again not family friendly and we had to wear swimming caps that we had to pay for which seemed excessive. I also had to pay extra for tennis racket and ball hire which at 5 euros each seemed steep, I don't think you should advertise having sporting facilities like this and then ask people to pay extra. The outdoor pool was extremely cool and not swimmable,laslty the breakfast was Ok but again I was expecting a better standard, the fruit wasn't ripe and the cereal selection was basic and not good quality. Lastly the location of the hotel was not very disappointing, it was only .7 of a km to town as described but it wasn't a pretty or even nice walk along a main road surrounded by not very nice buildings which felt a little eerie to say the least.

Pros: Everything was great, room really large, nicely equiped, cleaned every day, kitchen was small, but with everything we needed. Pool clean and great for kids. Location just perfect for exploring Algarve. Great price performance. Would recommend.

Cons: The location is a beach front but it away from the city Center. You have to walk at least 25 minutes to find restaurants and shops.

Pros: Staff were very friendly , the room was clean and it was excellent value for money .. There was a very nice little pool area , although pool was very dirty when I went to swim one morning .. Overall we have a nice stay , No real issues at all

Cons: It was alot further away from Lagos than I anticipated , it was however very close to the beach. We did have a car so it wasn't a huge issue , but walking to have dinner and some drinks wasn't an option , a taxi was necessary

Pros: The facilities. This may be the best resort in the Algarve. The apartment is very large.

Cons: There were a few ants in my ground floor apartment bedroom. The maids did remove them. Not enough wine glasses nor mugs. No iron.

Pros: I booked this for my son and his girlfriend. They loved the location and hotel facilities. The room was clean and the kitchen facilities provided flexibility allowing them the choice of having some meals in the room.

Pros: Apartment was spacious and comfortable. Did not use any of the hotel facilities so cannot comment apart from the car park. Very good location, easy walk into town with cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets close by.

Cons: No complaints, maybe just to say the hotel could benefit from a bit of redecoration.

Pros: Proximity to the beaches and main boulevard as well as old city was great.

Cons: There was a lack of amenities in the apartment. There wasn't any coffee, or dishwashing detergent for the dishwasher. Also the outdoor pool closed at 6 pm. The bar was never opened. You had to go for a drink in the dining area. The staff were very rude.

Pros: Despite the fact it looks more like an apartment complex than a hotel, the facilities are great, the pool area is huge and the room is comfortable, clean, and with great facilities. And the location is perfect. You can walk to the most beaches and restaurants.

Cons: This is a big, BIG, hotel-apartment, so, mind you, of course there a LOT of people everyday. One night there was some bizarre party-show happening in the pool. It didn't bother me that much, but I suppose some people might. The staff was fine, but I felt they didn't care much to make us feel more than just another guest among dozens. We weren't informed, for instance, about the heated pool and its working hours.

Cons: I couldn’t get basic services. My room would be cleaned, but dishes left in the sink. They had a problem with laundry so I could have a pool towel for 3 days, they ran out of spirits for two cocktails I ordered, the shuttle didn’t run on the Friday. The decor was not modern as advertised and certain items needed fixing, e.g. curtain rail, shower rod, washing line. The shower head was not in the middle of the bath, which meant the shower curtain stuck to you. The bathroom mirror needed replacing too.

Pros: Swimming pool, air conditioning, kitchen units and size of rooms were a plus. Free shuttle into town although doesn't operate on weekends. Great shop across the road for food supplies. Great walk into city along the coastline. Some good restaurants short walk away with value prices. Bus runs past location. Some staff very helpful with directions and advice (some more confident with their English perhaps a reason). Overall a pleasant stay. Rooms kept tidy everyday with towels changed. People in the neighbourhood were very friendly and helpful. Very relaxed place.

Cons: When we checked in we were only given limited information. When I went back to make enquiries another young lady with good English was on and she was very helpful in providing the info we didn't get at check in. May have been a language thing at check in?. Annoying having to go and get the pool towels. If reception was full meant you had to wait sometime to get a simple thing like a pool towel. Surely there is a better way by just leaving the pool towels by the restaurant and trusting people to return these. The shuttle only went to one location and that was it. We had an issue (stolen phone and bankcard while in the town one night) and needed to go to the Police Station next day. We caught the shuttle on checkout. The driver would only take us to a designated spot. As a consequence we had to haul our bags some way to the Police Station to report the theft. Given the circumstances you would have thought he/Villa Branca could have been more helpful on a hot day. Also needed a dish scrubbing brush and dish detergent for the kitchen. Seemed strange everything is there but nothing to clean up with. Reception said just leave it for the cleaners however breakfast dishes could sit there until evening.

Cons: We didn't think our beds in our apartment were comfortable at all

Pros: I like the space of the apartment. The white colours turn everything bright. The pools are also nice. They change towels every day.

Cons: The apartments are a little bit old. They should renovate more often. The kitchen doesn't have all the utilities to cook a regular meal. It lacks a towel to the table, a wodden spoon, more forks and knifes.

Pros: We liked the option of multiple swimming pools available. The place was quiet and clean.
