The rooms have modern furniture which appealed to us.
The hotel is very tired and needs a complete renovation especially the outside areas. Very disappointed when we arrived as there was so many areas that was awful. Black on walls, plaster falling off, so many dark areas by the outside rooms which needs attention. Our bathroom was dated too as there was black mould and stained shower tray. The whole bathroom was tired. It’s quite spread out so if you cannot walk far let reception know as there are a lot of stairs to the rooms
The staff at reception were so welcoming and helpful. It is a huge resort so having help with our luggage to the room was a bonus. We loved sitting outside on the terrace for breakfast each day
We had a room (2021) that was a fishbowl to everyone walking towards our wing of the resort. This made it impossible to have the curtains open as we were only in the room to sleep, change and get ready for the day.
I liked the The location it was easy to get to town the
The rooms were all over the place my room was not what we asked for they put it over a little pond never go there again .
Location was good, Breakfast was excellent.
Bedroom and bathroom very clean apart from a 'dodgy dirty' and broken toilet brush !! I was in room 1115 Bed - I didn't have a very good sleep the first night because of the mattress. I turned the mattress around and this was much better. It is esssential that you rotate the mattresses on a regular basis. Apart from these points I enjoyed my stay.
Location of room very far from reception and difficult to find
Combine history and culture with beachside bliss when you holiday at the stylish Tivoli Lagos Hotel. Occupying a central location in the Algarve city of Lagos, it’s close to the marina and old town, where you can walk down narrow cobbled streets dotted with ancient churches and alfresco cafes. You’re a 10-minute drive from gorgeous beaches too. The hotel’s 296 elegant rooms all have a balcony or terrace that overlooks the resort, Lagos or Atlantic Ocean. Our top-floor suite even has views that stretch all the way across the city and beach to Portimao. All rooms are air conditioned and equipped with flat-screen TVs, minibars and safes. At breakfast, you can fill up on fruit, pastries, cold meats, yogurts and eggs to energize you for the day ahead. We have four restaurants, including a classic Italian and an authentic Portuguese eatery that comes highly recommended. At our main bar you can enjoy an aperitif or live music evenings. Guests love our many quirky indoor and outdoor public spaces, and the hotel’s Duna Beach Club on the white sands of Meia Praia is the perfect spot for pool parties and weddings.
