Hotel Serena Dream

This property was comfortable, closed to the beach (less than 4 minutes), and has a wonderful pool.

What I didn’t like about this property is that the road that leads to it it’s not paved making the entrance not appealing. Also I noticed that the housekeeping does not mop the floors they use a broom instead of a vacuum and I noticed this every time I saw housekeeping cleaning other rooms too. The floor doesn’t look very clean and for that reason I rated medium in cleaning (they needed to be mopped). I do have to say that the beds were clean, the bathroom and the kitchen were clean too but it is in the Chilean custom to sweep and not to vacuum. You can solve this problem by requesting the floor to be mopped. Also if you’re a tourist like me they ask for your passport and the receipt of entry to the country in order to avoid the tax fee. Make sure you have your booking receipt printed in the moment of your reservation in your country with the currency of your country because if you don’t have it they will charge you The current exchange rate of the country. For example my bill was $300 but they were charging me more because they use the hotel current exchange rate for the dollar. We resolve this issue by showing them the original receipt showing that the booking fee was $300 dollars.
