Cons (-) They woke us up at 7:50 to tell us about a restaurant we asked for breakfast recommendation. The room is too small, with to storage space for a couple, a view of "the city" looks like a slam, lack of a 5-star quality, yet the service was good.

Pros (+) So much of your experience of Kyoto is where you are staying. I am so glad I changed hotels to stay at the Ritz one night. The service is outstanding, the location is incredible, and I had one of the nicest spa experiences of my whole life. Staying here will be one of my top memories of my lifetime. Cannot recommend highly enough.
