Had to pick up the car at the airport and pay for a taxi to get there. Budget was not able to pick us up at our hotel and or deliver the car to us at the hotel, which they've done in the past.10.0 Wonderful

They didn’t have a car which we reserved nine months ahead of time. Considering we were in Bonaire with limited options we were out of luck. They had no idea when or if a car would become available during our two week stay. We were extremely disappointed and were fortunate to find a car (but not a truck or SUV that we needed and reserved) with HERTZ. Will never use Avis again.2.0 Poor

We had 2 cars 2 separate kayak reservations and no cars. They were 10 cars short. Lots of upset people. We were lucky to get a car at budget but of course it was more money than our reserved price. I called budget and they said it happens all the time because they can't predict how many no shows....so they take reservations without having enough cars.2.0 Poor

I had a reservation. When I got to the window after traveling for more than 12 hours, I was told there were no cars available. The person behind the counter didn't speak English. She said "Boogit" several times and pointed to her left. She sat on the chair pointing until I finally realized it was Budget. Boogit did have cars but they charged me more than I was quoted on the reservation. Isn't Avis and Budget owned by the same company? Seems like bait and switch to me. I didn't have a choice and payed the higher price.2.0 Poor

Booked 2 separate reservations for avis trucks on kayak , 3 months in advance. At airport we were told avis had no cars, there were 10 other groups told the same thing. Crazy!!!we were told to go to budget which merged with avis but the rate was higher plus insurance made it all $150 more per week per truck. Plus the truck had a broken tailgate. And was a pos. We are scuba divers and needed to gear up on the tailgate. My tank and bcd fell right off. Bad experience with kayak and avis4.0 Mediocre

Staff was helpful when the car we rented broke down.Cons:
The 1st vehicle was in poor condition, not very well maintained and had mechanical issues. The windshield wipers did not work correctly and made visibility difficult in the rain during rainy season. 1st vehicle broke down and was unable to start for half an hour. They did work to swap out that vehicle. The second one was marginally better however similar make and model and outside of the vehicle was a mess dents dings and scratches galore. They warned me that I needed to buy the insurance however the vehicle could not have been worth more than the cost for the insurance. Additionally the insurance offered does not cover you if you violate any traffic laws, meaning if the accident was your fault. So if someone runs into you their insurance should stand to cover you, if you run into someone you are uninsured. Some offering you got there. I declined the insurance as was forced to sign that I understood I would have the pay. The scare tactic is a bit over the top. My CC has a policy attached so I was not concerned. Only trucks they had were diesel, however the gas station (only one in main city) did not have diesel the entire week we were there. So they gouged us in the end for the gas fill up. Overall there are better vehicles available and I would pay a little more for a better experience next time.Enterprise Rent-A-Car
