Quirky well equipped rooms fab shower ,brilliant location for centre of old town Value for money Staff really helpful Bit of noise from street bit nothing too disturbing this time of year
Lovely accommodation, and ideally located
Breakfast was amazing. Location perfect, Quaint old higglety pigglety building, receptionist friendly and very helpful. Glitzy room large and clean, lift to all floors. nice bed and linen. Enjoyed the spa bath.
The room was not as the photograph on booking .com or on their website, it was, however, perfectly fine so no real complaints. Be aware they play with mirrors which make the apartment look much larger than it is. There is a pub somewhere nearby. if you have the window shut you cant hear it but if, like us, you like fresh air it is a bit noisy until about midnight. Not a complaint just information.
We did not eat at the hotel as there were many other local facilities to experience including the winter markets. The location is absolutely fantastic it is a stones throw away from the square. The hotel is very secure and we were travelling as a family and it was good for teens to navigate their own way back to the rooms. Maid service and cleanliness were excellent. Ceilings are high which made it feel really spacious and we were at the end of the corridor which was great as it was manly quiet. Shower was great and really hot along with the heating which was at a great temperature for winter.
There are plenty of mirrors in the corridors (but not a full length one in the room) only a small mirror in the bathroom. No real issues … There was a panel loose in the bedroom door which woke me up as it rattled when you open it (easily fixed) If I am being picky the bedside lamps were stained and one was not safe enough to turn on (screw needed tightening) so we couldn't use it although there were lots of alternative lighting (easily fixed though). We stayed in Room 502. Overall a lovely hotel, clean and friendly will stay there again for sure.
