This hotel is living the adage: “putting lipstick on a pig”. It is truly a dump with some “nice” renovation in the rooms, with modern (but low quality) furniture and wood looking laminate flooring, but the bathrooms are not renovated at all- and have a feel of a low brow motel- everything rickety, old, peeling and wobbly, and generally incongruent with the renovation of the room itself. The price you would expect to pay for a place like this, with no amenities or even an elevator, is maybe $100- $120 at the very top end. I paid $240 for this room on 9/25/21. It was the only hotel with availability in all of Ithaca. Very LOW value for money here. Will never return. Not recommended. At all.
Pros:Nothing stood out. Refurbished but charmless.
Cons:Location adjacent to busy road and commercial parking lot: Noise. Trash and cigarette butts by one entrance.
Cons:Toilet flooded and room smelled bad. We were not offered any compensation. Will not stay again
Cons:There must have been a water issue at the hotel as there was a fan blowing and the musky odor was bad at one end of the hall way. No odor in our room though.

Pros:Location was great. Within walking distance of downtown Ithaca so we didn't have to drive in and it's right across the street from Wegmans if you need anything.
Cons:We took our do not disturb tag on our room off at 10 a.m. and left for the day. Returned around 5 p.m. and out room was not service yet by housekeeping. We stopped at the front desk, because we were heading out again for the evening, and the person at the front desk did not seem pleased because housekeeping had already left for the day. It almost seemed like we were a pain for asking for our room to be serviced, like we were in the wrong. She tried to talk us out of getting our sheets changed but then agreed to do it along with new towels and emptying trash bins. When we got back to our room later that night the trash cans were not emptied but we did have new towels and sheets. Room/bathroom was not cleaned at all.
Pros:The staff was outstanding! My mother uses a walker and they were very accommodating. The free breakfast was adequate but the service was great. It's a no-frills place at a decent price. My mother and I are usually light sleepers but we slept through the night with no noise problems. Housekeeping service was quick and thorough.
Cons:We really missed having a closet - there was just a shelf in the corner with 6 non-removeable hangars on a suspended bar.
