Free shuttle was very convenient The complementary breakfast and coffee The game room and pool The staff were friendly and helpful
Location and possible sketch vibe as far as safety Restaurant seemed to always be closed when I was around
Bad stay. to be avoided
Close to airport
Dirtiness. Hygiene No real breakfast
Ok Central area.
I heard some of the single rooms weren't that bad. But I heard some of them had roaches. I stayed in the $19 shared hostel and it was really bad.
Room service for beds was good
Didnt have a very safe feel from the things i heard when I got there however it didnt affect me but did put me very on edge
A little weird, but fine
Cheap,a pool if you're into it, a shuttle to the airport.
A little sketch, not the cleanest. You get what you pay for though, fine for the money.
Travelling
Roof over my head, bed to sleep in, bathroom amenities
The staff were not helpful and rude, I overheard one guest saying they had been bitten by bed bugs and had marks all over her. And another two guests had a shower and the pipe in their room busted, drenching all of their clothes and items. The staff didn't care at all. Staff were rude, no friendliness towards guests.
Its a dump!
Not a single thing!
You would sleep better at the airport! Too many people in a room. Bathroom was filthier than an NYC subway bathroom. No towels provided. The blankets made me feel like theyd been taken from a molested child and donated. Cerfew not enforced or observed. 50-60 year old men hitting on girls 18-25. Disgusting. Staff were no help with locating my room, rules, accomdations.
Only if you have to.
The free shuttle to LAX and champagne coupon. Ultra cheap dorm rate** free watered down coffee.
Oh where to begin. The place is located in a undesirable part of town. It looks run down and seems to be more of a place that people stay long term vs a couple of days or so. They have cats everywhere, I literally counted 14 pussies roaming the property. Don't get me wrong I love cats, but I don't think it looks right at all. The dorms stunk and for a 20 bed dorm only to have one bath is totally unacceptable. And the staff could go through some customer service training. Really that's referred to the night crew as the day crew was ok with me. They have lockers for a reason, use it!!!
Where is it??
I booked a bed before I read the small print about no one over 30 can stay here. I realized this 2 days before I was scheduled to stay so I contacted management. I never heard anything back from them at all
I landed in LA and drove to the address listed for the site and still couldn't find the place. Tried to call but again no contact with management at all. Address listed was in the heart of inglewood and a very shady area. The address given looked like an abandoned building and definitely nothing like the pictures that are posted. So after being unable to find the place and no contact from management,I got to sleep in the rental car for the night. When I got up the next morning I checked and was charged for the stay on my credit card. Love paying for nothing. The absolute worst part of my trip and I plan on disputing the charge on my credit card. Maybe I had the address wrong or it was listed incorrectly but some kind of communication from management would have been helpful.
Drug dealers and prostitutes around pool area. Had a gun pulled on me outside in the daytime. Going out at night was clearly not an option.
You get what you pay for
Cheap housing, pool
There are several things but like I said you get what you pay for
Cheap but sketchy
It was cheap
I didn't feel safe walking around the area. Went back to the hostel 'restaurant' which served a virtually inedible burger. Parking is limited and not assigned. Typical hostel bathrooms. I wouldn't go back!
Nice room, nice place to meet new people...
The locations is to far from LA, but it's very nice for who is waiting the flight in LAX...
The location was good near to the airport and car rental company, the staff was friendly.
Location close to the LAX Airport...
Bad place! maybe nice for jong poeple...
I liked the moment I left it.
The most terrible experience I've ever had. Can you immagine, I got fleas (блохи!) in my bed! Still keep fighting this problem after my stay at the disgusting Adventurer. Location is extremely bad - close to the airport, you can hear planes all the time, and at the same time cannot reach any of the places of interest without car. Need to mention that public transport is poorely developed in la, that's why staying in the Adventurer turns into kind of a prison... Don'te be cheated on: the shuttle they are offering to the beach will bring you not to Santa Monica or Venice beach - but to tiny unknown Marina del Rey, a few kilometres from really famous beaches of la. Don't be trapped! Never stay at the Adventurer!
A good place to stay if you´re stopping overnight from the airport. the pool was nice, and all the free stuff that was included meant that you didn´t really need to spend anything when you were there. good if you´re on a budget!
It´s in a pretty rough part of la. It´s probably not a good idea to walk around at night...
value
noisy
Internetacsess
It is not central, it is too far away from the mainattractions.
swimming pool, free shuttle bus
noisy at night
lots of trips advertised - the price - the free extras (esp the tea and coffee)
Our dorm only had one bathroom (shower and toilet therein) - it was absolutely ridiculous for 20 beds/guests - the reception staff were not particularly helpful (one man was out of 6 staff I spoke to) seemed hassled if you asked them anything
Its a nice place, they have the schudles to the air port and the transit center that help. The staf is nice
When you think la you need to be aware about location!!!!
