Generally talking quite good
The location and staff were good.
The hotel was dated in places and the rooms quite basic fod the price.
good food at breakfast but the furniture in the room was very'tired'. New tables and chairs up to the standard in the bedrooms would be more welcoming.
Breakfast was extremely good and the unlimited coffee tea etc was excellent as well, staff were very helpful. Easy access to WiFi good
The booked a family room was a complete disappointment. There was 1 double bed and a sofa double bed, the sofa bed was made up when we arrived so there was absolutely no room whatsoever. Only one person at a time could ‘change’ At 80 years old I did not appreciate having to climb over the bed to plug the kettle and other electrical gadgets in, also there was one plug near the mirror- hidden at the back of a shelf!! It was only when I was repacking our luggage that I spotted it - a notice to make guests aware of its existence would be helpful.
I liked that we were left to it after check in. Coming and going at any time without having to go through reception.
At check in the receptionist very friendly and helpful. After that i found the staff frosty and not friendly.
