The hotel website makes no mention that their restaurant has been closed since Covid-19. So, no status breakfast benefit; the only compensation is 1,000 Hyatt points per day. The coffee service in the room is no replacement for a fresh brewed cup with real half and half as it features powdered non-dairy products. I did have an upgraded suite with mountain view. Room had lots of dust. You can especially see it on top of the mirror. Worse was we go out for the day and our room is not cleaned. We had to request room cleaning every day. Location was good.

Pros (+) The staff was friendly and very helpful. They truly accentuated the Aloha spirit. The hotel is beautiful and centrally located in Waikiki near the new International Marketplace with lots of restaurants and shopping to choose from.
Cons (-) The pool is 18” deep. So it’s not meant for swimming.

Pros (+) Beautiful room! I recieved an upgrade to the penthouse and the views were amazing! Also the bartender is really great!
Cons (-) The power went out during our first night there. We actually got stuck on the elevator. A day later a fire alarm went off.

Cons (-) Didn't realize the price of the breakfast buffet was a bit high, in my opinion. It was an ok buffet. That's about it really.
