Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's central location, making it convenient for shopping, dining, and beach access. Cleanliness was also highlighted as a strong point, with many reviews mentioning pristine rooms and well-kept facilities. However, several guests were disappointed by the lack of a proper restaurant or bar, and some found the pool too shallow for swimming. Service received mixed feedback: while some staff were described as friendly and helpful, others were seen as unhelpful or rude, especially regarding luggage assistance and special requests. Overall, the positives centered on location and cleanliness, with amenities and service quality varying by experience.

The hotel website makes no mention that their restaurant has been closed since Covid-19. So, no status breakfast benefit; the only compensation is 1,000 Hyatt points per day. The coffee service in the room is no replacement for a fresh brewed cup with real half and half as it features powdered non-dairy products. I did have an upgraded suite with mountain view. The room was very spacious and clean...

Room had lots of dust. You can especially see it on top of the mirror. Worse was we go out for the day and our room is not cleaned. We had to request room cleaning every day. Location was good.

Pros (+) The staff was friendly and very helpful. They truly accentuated the Aloha spirit. The hotel is beautiful and centrally located in Waikiki near the new International Marketplace with lots of restaurants and shopping to choose from.
Cons (-) The pool is 18” deep. So it’s not meant for swimming.

Pros (+) Beautiful room! I recieved an upgrade to the penthouse and the views were amazing! Also the bartender is really great!
Cons (-) The power went out during our first night there. We actually got stuck on the elevator. A day later a fire alarm went off.

Pros (+) Pretty much everything. No real complaints.
Cons (-) Didn't realize the price of the breakfast buffet was a bit high, in my opinion. It was an ok buffet. That's about it really.
