The hotel staffs are making us feeling welcome
I’m not sure if it’s because the COVID-19, there’s not connecting shuttle from HK island.
The check-in staff were wonderful. I was given an upgrade for my birthday. The room was great, large with a wonderful balcony. The best mattress!! Very firm = perfect!! Beautiful view. Very quiet and so relaxing.
The curtains and blackout need washing - looked a bit dirty and smelt musty....the terrace needs sweeping and windows need cleaning. Sun lounge is needed on the terrace. Access to the pool area and sun lounges should be allowed because sunbathing should be allowed so I was annoyed because the weather was perfect.
Spacious and relatively close to the beach
When we went to have breakfast the manager at the restaurant presented us a bill, however the breakfast was included, the manager then went to check but never made his way back to let us know what happened. A simple “its our mistake, we apologise “ would be sufficient but no one ever came back.
A great escape from the crowds and chaos of Hong K
Best hotel swimming pools I've ever seen: a kiddie pool with water slides and an enormous, well maintained adult/older kid pool at a temperature suitable for laps. There is also a nice long public beach. Luxurious feel throughout the building and grounds, yet very kid friendly. We got very good rates by booking early. Dining options and a decent small grocery store a short walk away. Hotel dining is quite good, but pricey.
Access to Hong Kong's excellent public transit is less than convenient. A short taxi ride into Tuen Mun gives access to lots of shopping, dining, and bus and rail connections. The Hotel's shuttle is a bit expensive (by HK standards).
we liked that it was by the beach, the staff was curious, and the shuttle ran to Kowloon and Central on the hour every hour.
Far from everything, but the shuttle helped.
