The staff was truly concerned about us being happy. Our air conditioner wasn’t working well and the staff all participated in making sure it was working properly. We said it was “ok” but they wanted to hear it was excellent. They made sure to help us to be comfortable!
Chill, serene, relaxed atmosphere. Great service, good food. No kids and no cellphones is a nice touch (if respected). Both outdoor and indoor pools well kept. Indoor spa section great- steam room, sauna and ice bath.
Although they have done a great job with the place, I felt certain parts of the hotel were partly renovated from an older property- it does not compare to other hotels in the isrotel exclusive collection which feel new and impressive by comparison. For this price of room, soft drinks should be free in minibar- charging for them comes across as greedy and insulting. The spa section had cold drinks out (home made infused waters) which was a nice touch, but no snacks, except for apples. Also hardly any guests respect the no cellphone policy in public areas, nor is it enforced.
Excellent property to visit
Everything was good
The cleaning staff was excellent and accommodating. The outdoor area, especially around the pool, was lovely and clean, as were all the facilities. The wait staff was pleasant and attentive, but it took a long time to actually get our meals. The mashgichim were wonderful and knowledgeable and very helpful to us.
The rooms were very small, especially for the money. There was no place to unpack and put the suitcases. The furniture in room 505 is quite worn, with bald patches on the upholstery. When you go to chutz l'Aretz, and pay such substantial amounts for accommodation, the physical space is generally constantly updated. It makes one think twice about going abroad vs. staying home in Israel.
probably the best spa hotel in Israel. Even when crowded it felt quiet. Rooms are nice with a beautiful view and a very large and comfortable bed. Hammam is exceptional. And the garden is a great place to relax.
Dinner was a bit disappointing, could have been much better. so could have the weekend breakfast.
