The booking process. We had joined the NH Rewards scheme and went in to make the booking on the NH web-site. We went all the way through and were up to the point of paying. However, the web-site insisted on our putting in a 'Fiscal ID number'. This should not be a demand for people outside of Spain. However, the web-site knew we were making the booking from the UK; all our details were in. Even so, the site totally refused to let us go on to pay and finish the booking. We had to come out and make the same booking by booking.com, which cost us £87 more, for exactly the same thing. I contacted the NH Rewards people who insisted that the web-site would not have demanded a fiscal ID number, even though we told them, several times, that the site would not let us progress without putting in a fiscal ID number. They effectively refused to accept what I had been telling them. Please ensure that your web-site is working properly and does not demand a fiscal ID number from people outside Spain. Quite frankly, NH should refund the £87 we were obliged to pay by being forced to go to a different site

Breakfast at 20 Euros per person a bit steep, they could be a bit more liberal with the milk and coffee supplies in the room
