Hotel Don Juan

The location of the hotel itself is fine, not to far from the city centre but far enough from the main crowds of tourists. The staff member at check in was very efficient and provided plenty of information in fact he was excellent.

The problem with it's location was the nightclub at the rear of the hotel. The noise from it's patrons seemed to start at about 10 p.m. when it opened and go on until between 2 and 4 in the morning. For this reason I would recommend you do not accept a room at the rear of the hotel. I would also say the rooms are quite small in fact the first room we were given with a walk-in shower (as my wife has a walking problem) was so small you had to sit on the toilet sideways as the sink was right in front of it. The second room was larger but with a shower over the bath and the space between the beds and the desk was so small you had to walk sideways between them

There was pub noise until around 4 o'clock. So we could not sleep all night even with earplugs.

Noisy area as university students rampage all night. Room floor was dirty when we arrived. No viewable channels on TV.

The location was good.

The blanket was dirty and the room was very cold. All night long there was noise from the other rooms. The reception was knowing just a few english.
