Excellent breakfast. Quiet location that was perfect for walking into town from.
The pool area was under utlilised with only around 6-8 sun loungers and a few tables. It was a struggle to get anywhere to relax by the pool as a result.

It's a lovely location and the staff are helpful getting your car ready for when it is needed. Generally the staff are attentive. Breakfast was also very good. Great on time laundry service which was crucial for our stay.
To be honest it is not a good 5 star hotel. A good 4 really. The gym is terrible , the pool is tiny but nice , the room is decent but nothing special, worst all night room service we have experienced in any hotel . You are lucky to get a salad or a sandwich. Minimal extras provided to warrant spending the extra money on the Washington Irvine instead of cheaper 4 star alternatives in the area which have larger pools.

The staff is very friendly. Because there is no parking nearby, a valet service is at hand. The location is perfect for visiting the Alhambra. The terrace deserves a special mention for its tranquility and chill out atmosphere.

The hotel and room were very comfortable to get back to after hot, busy days out. The staff were extremely helpful. The view of the Alhambra is a bit limited but we loved being close by. We took the three hour group tour for 10 people and it was well worth it. We found one excellent restaurant nearby and went twice because the views of the sunset were spectacular. This was recommended by the front desk staff. We enjoyed days out to Cordoba and the coast. Also enjoyed getting lost in the Albacin!
Parking. There is valet parking but the space provided to leave the car is rather challenging and quite stressful when you arrive as not clear it is where you can stop and we had police watching what we were doing. This could have been explained better when I contacted the hotel about the car before arriving.
