The position is great, and the room is pretty comfortable.
Breakfast has no many choices, missing some croissant or a variety of jams/chocolate.
The breakfast was disappointing, I had great expectations after reading reviews of the hotel saying the breakfast was excellent, but I did not find this to be the case. Self service, that I have no problem with but the choice was poor, and the black pudding, which I normally love, was tasteless. However the staff at breakfast were very nice and friendly.
The room was very small, and far too hot, which meant I did not sleep too well.
The breakfast was beyond expectations. Great variety of food. One could request porridge or fried eggs. Had great service in breakfast restaurant from all the staff and in particular Linda.
Very disappointed that Sutherlands Restaurant had closed. However, the new restaurant, which is 'meat' free, served up some interesting and tasty meals.
Breakfast was traditional open bar type buffet. It was good and they had decent variety. The eggs were a little interesting as I think they came our of a bag, but everything tasted fine. The mattres in the room was comfortable. the location was ideal for us to walk around town and see things.
The room was very small. Manuvering about the bed to get to the bathroom was interesting. If you weren't careful or paying attention your toes would easily get hurt. Everything was very clean and smelled nice. The only thing is a little fan would have been nice. it was very stuffy in the room.
Excellent location, clean room good facilities. Easy check in and out, storage room for luggage. Good fast internet once you sort out the log in. Close to Kelvin hall park and museum. 10 minutes walk to Glasgow centre. Car parking on the street outside was free at certain times.
