Gettysburg hotels near Gettysburg National Cemetery

Pros: Location was perfect and Barbara and her husband were super. I also like the furniture in the #1 room String of Pearls. Place is awesome.

Pros: Extremely friendly and accommodating ownership. Large beautiful room wonderfully decorated. Walking distance to everything in town. Added bonus is it's about a block from the Farnsworth House.

Pros: Loved the location. Everything is in walking distance. Staff was very helpful and everything was nicely clean.

Pros: It was in a centralized location - easy access to the Visitor's Center for the Battlefield. It was a clean moderately priced room. Staff was friendly. Housekeeping was splendid. Our room had a little patio. Breakfast was nothing to rave about and nothing to complain about. Will recommend this facility to friends visiting Gettysburg.

Pros: Wall Thermostat controls temperature, not the usual high low on the heater/ac unit. The room was clean. The hotel grill had a great waitress and a delicious salad on the menu. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable, we were there in the middle of winter and there was an ice storm during our stay and still everything worked, heater was hot, water was hot, the staff was very pleasant and informative, the breakfast was good and had a nice variety of items, I left an item behind and when I called and left a message, my call was returned with 30 minutes and arrangements made to have my item mailed, we would definitely go back and stay there again.

Pros: Well sited within walking distance to downtown or the battlefield. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.

Pros: Location was great, it is walking distance to just about all of Gettysburg's sites and attractions. Wait staff was very nice. Hotel bar is lively fun.

Pros: beware that if you book through kayak via hotels.com you are unable to change your room. i booked a suite and was not happy with the layout (two tiny rooms) and asked to switch rooms. the hotel was only half full this particular weekend so they had plenty of rooms available. the front desk curtly informed me that since i booked through hotels.com i could not change rooms. i even offered to move to another room that would be a downgrade and the women at the front desk did not want to accomodate me. i finally had to say that i would forfit the premium that i paid for the suite. however, they were not very nice about it.

Pros: I loved the location for how quickly you can get to anything at the circle along with the Staff being very generous and sincere. I felt welcomed and enjoyed the comfortable king bed and fireplace my room had. This hotel is perfect for young couples that will be enjoying the night life in Gettysburg.

Pros: I liked the value, sure we weren't walking distance to Washington DC however their shuttle to the airport, breakfast bar, hot showers, good ac's, very comfortable beds and pillows. It all was perfect for what we were looking for. The night clerk also helped lead us to local sports bars, restaurants and other things close to do.

Pros: I cancelled my reservation 12 days in advance and revived a email cancellation confirmation from Expedia. Was still charged by hotel, call the hotel and was told very nasty by the women manager that Expedia never sent confirmation to them, before I could give her any information she told me that it's hotel policy and I would not be getting a refund, to try to get it from Expedia. Expedia call hotel and told them I had conformation of cancellation and that I was due a refund and they claim they never received it. Beware they will charge your card and then say it hotel policy basically stealing your money. Save yourself the trouble and book at the many other hotels in Gettysburg.
