Easy access from train station, bus #11 stops just a few feet from entrance. ATM's are around the corner. Great restaurants nearby. Museums and Boboli Gardens and downtown Firenze at walkable distance. Hotel is very quiet and peaceful. Great staff.
Room was rather small.

Nice atmosphere, beautiful location, seems to go back in time. The rooms are not very big but comfortable, if you imagine it was an old convent they transformed it nicely (keep this in mind when you stay there, if you want a 4 star new place you could be disappointed) It is 10-15 min walk from Ponte Vecchio (old city center)

Clean, nice breakfast, very friendly kind checkin lady-short blond hair(NOT check out snob LADY-dark brown hair), room had 1queen size bad and one single bad, clean, big enough for me and my dad, I could walk all the way via romana for 7 min, and got to Fonte vecchio, which was good, I got really pissed off by check out lady who had no smile in her face till the end whatsoever.the lady who did my check out was acting very very snob, me and my dad came down and I was gonna check out, and my dad put bags to the car. however even before I reach to information desk, she would looked at me funny ,say that I need to return the key like right now,i was like,"dude, dont you see me walking straight to you?"(i didnt say, I was just thinking lol),
She acted like I would ran away or something.. anyway, then I realize I forgot the key upstair, so I went to pick it up, as soon as I came down, again she looked at me weird with her twisted eyebrow, and say "madam, just to let you know, you also need to pay" . I was like, what the fuck, I had my wallet right in my hand even before I reached to reception,so what the hell she meant by, "you need to pay".anyway I came with bookings.com, they already had my credit infos, I dont know if she tought I was dumb asian, so she would kindely tell me everything like "you cant stay in hotel without paying"? But that just wasnt nice, I just hope she will learn how to be happy, and just bcz she works in 2star hotel, she dont have to behave like 2stars.

Nice location, next to the porto romana and a short nice walk to the palazzo Pitti and over the ponte vecchio to all other major attractions. Clean room, friendly staff. If you expect a 4 star experience, beware, but if you want a basic place, this could be an option.
Breakfast was a pretty basic affair. We didn't like the bed, woke up with back pain. Maybe slight understaffed, sometimes there seemed to be almost no staff in the hotel. It's a nice place but given the price setting there are better options in town.
