Lovely room, great breakfast, good service
I booked as a single occupancy for a double room. However when I asked how much it would be for my partner to stay they charged me another £40 which effectively for breakfast which is outrageous. I have stayed at this hotel before and I understand it's peak season but I had the double room booked anyway so all they had to do is provide breakfast - I would have used all the towels anyway and we brought our own toiletries.
The location is brilliant, it's lovely and quiet, easy walking distance to a beach, to the castle and in to Falmouth town centre. Easy to walk to from the station. The room decoration is lovely and really comfortable with everything you could want. I was lucky to have a room upgrade which made the trip absolutely fantastic - Thank you! Would highly recommend staying here.
The warm welcome from Amy, the beautiful sea view and the amazing scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.
We couldn't stay longer.
The good breakfast, especially the bacon and the scrambled eggs. The honesty bar. The sitting out area in the garden
The shower could have been a bit bigger, in one of the rooms.l
Breakfast was excellent and all staff were pleasant and helpful. The honesty bar worked well and there was an good range of drinks available
Air conditioning in the rooms but that's not really practical in older properties. The price we paid was good value for money and we would definitely stay again
