The location was great. The room was very private even though there were other rooms right next door. The view was fabulous!
The bed was not comfortable for me. My husband didn’t have a Problem with it. I could barely get in and out of bed because it was in such a tight space and I really dislike not having a night stand. I also dislike not being able to watch tv from the bed. The couch was too small and not comfortable.
It was a trip to remember for our anniversary. Peaceful, quiet, cozy. Wildlife visited and hot tub was perfect with the snow on the ground. Will definitely be staying here again. Thanks for a lovely visit!
One of the burners didn't work on the stove in cottage #1 and the fridge froze my groceries overnight on the top shelf, but otherwise everything was absolutely wonderful.
Quiet, cozy, and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for our anniversary getaway.
We loved the location of the property. I was also very appreciative of the female staff members who cleaned the overnight snowfall off of our car.
I think the only problem we had with the room was the tile floor was very slippery just with socks on. We did not even try to walk on the tile with our wet shoes after coming in from outside for fear of falling.
I wanted to celebrate my 5 year anniversary with my wife and her birthday and this place was the perfect spot to do so! I got a call earlier from the front desk saying that the people who were in our room the prior night wanted to stay another night so they asked if they could upgrade us to the next room up...so worth it! They kept us at the same price as before and gave us the upgrade. It was beautiful and was right on the river so I could walk right out in the morning to stand next to it. Loved the jacuzzi tub in the living room, nice king size bed, and the outdoor scenery is breathtaking. I think a big plus is that you are out in nature enough away from downtown, but not too far to go out and enjoy an evening. It was perfect for my wife and I to go on a hike and enjoy the town that day. Highly recommend this place and will be back again!
There was a hair ball caught in the jacuzzi jet that was floating around as we were in the tub. Would love the jets to be cleaned out beforehand to ensure that doesn’t happen again. It was pretty gross
