Pros. First of all, if you are paying to stay the night, I’d recommend staying in the main hotel for the “true experience”!! Yes, it’s expensive, but for many it is a once in a lifetime experience so it’s worth the money. The Hotel is old and in need of repair but It is a beautiful Hotel and the experience is well worth it!
Cons. Our room was kind of dirty upon arrival. Nothing that took away from the experience. The Hotel is old but Beautiful.. In my opinion, I think like the ownership/Management really need to invest into an experienced on site maintenance staff, necessary equipment, and a necessary maintenance budget that would allow for daily upkeep & repairs to the property. I’ve been a property Maintenance Supervisor for 25 years and know the importance of maintaining such properties & I noticed a lot of “curb appeal” projects that would really help enhance the beauty of the property & Hotel buildings.
