Such a good find in the Boutique Hotel in Morningside Edinburgh. The Lane has individually themed rooms.. ours ‘The Garden Room’ was very pretty.. and an even better stay in the summer with it’s own private outside patio. A part of The Canny Man’s pub, a hidden gem - we will be back for another stay.

Beautiful clean rooms, huge comfy beds and a fantastic en suite. The lack of breakfast wasn't an issue as there are plenty of lovely cafés close by. The walk in to Edinburgh is about 35 mins on a relatively flat track but there are also regular buses that pick you up just up the road. Fantastic value for money, would recommend to anyone.
