Firstly the staff were the pinacle of the visit. Absoltely fantastic customer service and great chat. Bar tender (didnt catch his name) gave some great tips about the drinks and the area. Secondly the building its self was gorgeous, one of the nicest hotels ive stayed in personally! Our room although a little small was still very comfortable and the bed was a good size. The whole building was also SPOTLESS and my partner loved the smell of the room and lobby area. The breakfast was another highlight of our stay, I had the smoked kippers and my partner had the full Scottish breakfast. Both were cooked to perfection especially the kipper. All in all a very strong 9/10 and we will definitely be returning on our next visit.
Room size was a little smaller than expected. Would of liked some toothpaste in the room. 30 min walk from centre so had to get taxis but they only cost about 5 or 6 pound.
Relaxed with great welcome
The whole thing is excellent. Great staff, great food, lovely room, super comfy bed with wonderful pillows.
Beds are really comfy and overall the staff are friendly and funny. The shower products are also very nice
The fact that the hotel is split across 2 properties is a bit of an issue. If staying in the Hampton House you don't get the boutique Victoria property experience which is what you are hoping for. Before booking check your room is in the main house otherwise its really not worth staying here.
