The owner sent us on what's up the code to collect the key, a video to explain where to use it, no need to hurry up to be there in time. The location is wonderful, on the same street with the university, 2 min. walk from the Festival Theatre and Surgeons' Hall Museum, 5 min. walk to the National Museum of Scotland, 5 min. to the Royal Mile, 8 min. walk from where the bus from the airport dropped us. Supermarket Tesco, LIdl nearby. The building has a lot of flats, but it was very, very, very quiet. The heating worked perfectly. Everything was very clean. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable, the sofa in the dining-room, too. The kitchen is modern and has all needed. A lot of channels on TV, WiFi is working very well.
The sofa in the dining-room is not as the one in the pictures and it is a little bit dirty. The carpet at the entrance was a little bit dirty. Think to take a shampoo to use that nice shower and some detergent for the washing machine if you want to wash your clothes. The ventilation in the bathroom makes noise, but if you close the doors, one doesn't hear from the room. The owner is asking 200 pounds after you book, but we were given it back quickly.
Liked everything well equipped and really comfortable, location was brilliant and omg the shower was amazing !!
Had a bit of trouble with the outside door, key just kept turning but there's obviously a nack to it.
Place was very clean, kitchen well equipped , and comfortable for our needs.
Husband thought the bed was too small , but otherwise satisfied .c
The location was superb, there was no breakfast so that is n/a and the person who checked me in was on time and communicated with me before hand.
The checkout was very impersonal. I was told to leave the keys inside and take off. It would have been nice to see someone in person and say thank you, and share some more feedback.
The apartment was perfect for us. Clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Calum the property manager was lovely and helpful. The apartment felt secure as there were two door locks and also a code to get onto our floor. The location was very near a Lidl, Sainsbury's Local, and Tesco Express, so it was perfect for the groceries.
The main double bed and douvet felt a bit small. It was okay for us as we slept 2 on the sofa bed in the kitchen instead as it was larger, but may not suit a group of 4. Also with the kitchen table folding from the wall that may not suit if you want more than 2 people to it and have their meals together. We also had an issue with the oven and just didn't use it.
