I would like to thank the calm, friendly staff who welcomed us with such warmness and consummate professionalism at such a stressful time. We we're given a free room upgrade and free soft drinks and both were hugely welcome after our very long drive. Bed was very comfortable, great reading lights, spacious bathroom. Very quiet.
The whole stay was perfect!
Great hotel. Was surprisingly impressed
Room was great and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Location was quite central, close to tourist attractions and public transport
Everything was great and staff were fantastic and helpful with any queries I had
The room was very comfortable and a good size. Check in and out was quick and easy, staff were very helpful and communicated well with us during our stay. We didn't try the breakfast but the bar and restaurant area looked very clean and welcoming.
We only had two real issues, one being the air conditioning in our room wasn't always working, but given the time of year that wasn't an issue. Second, of the complimentary toiletries, toothbrushes were provided, however when we open the box, it had someone else's dirty used toothbrush in it. An easy thing for room service to miss as the box did look untouched, but we did throw the whole box straight in the bin.
The staff were very good and most helpful.
The hotel is quite tatty in part. In the bathroom for example the grouting was coming away from the wall. The heating wasn’t that effective. The desk in the room was covered with fixed glass but there was dirt under the glass! There were other minor issues.. but I can’t be bothered to mention them. The only other Mecure I have stayed in was the one in Singapore which was beautiful and not that expensive!
