My original reservation was $640 or so, at the pick up they wanted me to pay $1100 for the car, so I chose a local rental place for $500 for 6 days, very disappointing. The she offers me to rent directly with her and not kayak.. Horrible experience..

Nothing, staff was useless

Cons:

They didn't have the vehicle I had reserved, or any car for that reason that was automatic transmission. But also was told there would be the "mandatory insurance" of $180 USD which could not be waived. My car rental was $193 so I was not about to pay almost the same amount I paid for the rental in insurance. Even worse is that it was not disclosed by either Kayak or Budget. Will never again try Kayak or Budget in Mexico.

I will never rent a car in Durango Mexico. I was told to pay $627 dollars for 3 weeks including insurance. I ended up paying double. $1,254 dollars plus $125 cash I was told to pay. I knew that money was for the agent. Couldn't do anything because my flight was at 7am and they Budget opened at 6:15am. I was in a hurry. They took advantage of the situation. The car was a 2022 Mitsubishi. It looked like a 2012 car. AC didn't work. The back windows were manual. If you please make an investigation and help me out to get my money back of $627, I would appreciate it. I got ripped off paying double.
