The person I dealt with on checkout was great!
The carpet in the room was stained, the bed spread was stained, the toilet had stains in the bowl, I didn’t have a towel, the door had to be slammed shut to get it to stay shut and the security latch looked like it had been ripped out of the wall and someone decided to just screw it back in the wall (I could have pulled it out with 1 hand). I felt like I had to put the chair and my bags in front of the door at night to feel somewhat comfortable. I also was glad I brought my own bedding (pillow and sleeping bag) and my own towel.
Just about every thing we wanted to see or do was a short walk from the hotel. Staff was very helpful in advising us where to grab a good bite to eat.
Some parts of the neighborhoods close to the hotel are a little sketchy.
Bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean.
A/C was barely working. Shower head was leaky. Bathroom lights were large incandescent bulbs and heated up the room. With no ac the bulbs made it unbearably hot.
The room was clean!!
Charged extra after staying for nothing!
location is great
room was cold, small, no bathtub, parking
Location in Duluth.
Smelled like smoke. Still brass key entry. outdated décor and bathroom. since like a motel better drapery. needs complete heating and cooling system. Air conditioners were covered and out of service. Hot weekend in Duluth.
The woman at the desk was very helpful with ideas of what to do in Duluth and where to have a nice dinner. Ex. Cruises and Pickwick.
I reserved this room on Fri. We got there on Mon at 11am. There were no rooms available until 3pm. I requested a room on the first floor because my partner has MS and it is very hard for her to walk upstairs. The lady at the front desk told me that wasn't a problem. When I came back at 4 they gave me a room on the 2nd floor and when I told her I requested a room on the first floor she said there weren't any available. My partner walking up and down the stairs was very hard on her. I won't be coming back because I was told one thing and given something else. To top it off the cleanliness of the room was below average.
