The fan was faulty, but did work thankfully as it was very hot in the room.
We booked into another B and B that we could not stay in as it was very sub standard and not as advertised so we did a last minute booking here and it was easy and trouble free
Sheet on one of the beds had a stain. Expensive for one night considering the room was so basic.
Compared to the rest of a Dublin it was reasonably priced. No breakfast available onsite. But they have an arrangement with a very nice local cafe (30 sec walk) for breakfast.
Very basic for the price. No bedside table, nowhere in the bathroom to put anything on (sink and toilet, that’s it). But, it was not an issue as we spent very little time in the room anyway
The hotel had a carpark and was located right next to a couple of bus stops which made it easy to utilise public transport. (Note, coins only for buses or a leap pass required). The staff were friendly and very helpful in providing tourist information and made our stay comfortable. Location of this property made it easy to get into town and to the ferry terminal.
The process in parking the car and departure made it a little tricky as we had to return the fob key without any parking on the street and therefore created a road block. And recommend selling/deposit Leap cards to guests as it made our journey into town a little tricky for the two days we were there. I would stay here again knowing what I know now.
