Perfectly okay
This hotel was fine. It was by no means luxurious but it was decently well-situated and the restaurant was not bad. It was also quite affordable. It’s a good budget hotel overall. The room was a bit dingy and the hotel layout bizarre (getting to the room was a long trek involving multiple corridors and elevators). It was fairly clean but again, run-down.
Dated decor, very bare bones toiletries (handsoap and shampoo only, no condition or body wash). There was a hole in my comforter.
Great hotel fantastic location!
The hotel was in a great location. Staff was phenomenal. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
There was nothing I didn't like.
Rooms and bathrooms could do with an upgrade but it was comfortable.
Good hotel for the price
The hotel is in a great location in the city and the staff were helpful when they could be.
Our biggest problem was other guests being noisy or inappropriate, which the hotel can't necessarily control, and some things in our room weren't up to the best standards, like the broken soap dish in the shower and the lack of sheets on the bed (only a comforter which was too heavy). But with the price you can't exactly expect luxury.
Perfect City Centre Hotel
The location was perfect for a city centre stay, the breakfast was tastey and plentiful and the bar staff were friendly.
Very friendly, competent and helpful front desk staff.
Tiny room withbuncomfortable beds. No air conditioning so windows had to stay open. Top floor but noisy street - all night parties and traffic. Worn down furniture and poor public spaces. To top it off €560 for Saturday night (U2 concert, Prrhaps). Deplorable.
Charming
Location pretty close to town. Friendly staff. Room (418) was compact but was lovely and warm despite being very cold outside. Quiet at night too. No veggie sausage at breakfast but lots of cereal, fruit, toasts and alternatives. Bus to airport stops on same street so very easy departure. Reception offered to store our luggage after check out until we left for our plane.
A bit dated but adds to the charm.
2 days in Dublin
We stayed in room 20. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a European charger, but the outlets in Ireland are different. The front desk gave me an adapter to use that saved us from having to buy one. Great location for the price. Everything is in walking distance. Plenty of places to eat and many small shops nearby.
Room was on the cool side even with the radiator all the way on. It wasn't a problem though.
Perfect Honeymoon
The price was reasonable and the location was perfect. We weren't right in the middle of city centre but we were close enough. There was lots to do with in walking distance (shops, restaurants and pubs especially) and the bus stops were just a block down to help you reach the rest of the city. The bar was nice and the prices were fair. The bartender was actually the one that suggested the Hop on Hop off tour to us that made our last 2 days more successful than our first 2!
The shower is a bit snug with limited space for toiletries, but even that is a very minor issue.
Would Stay Again
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. (At one point I missed a tour and the front desk lady helped me get everything sorted even though I didn't book through them. Tom was also very helpful the morning of my departure, helping me get everything printed and just being a calming presence. Thorough housekeeping. Excellent location. Lots of information readily available.
I didn't see any complimentary soaps or shampoos. Maybe I overlooked them or maybe it's just an American thing to provide little soaps. Very minor complaint, by the way. The hotel stay was lovely.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price for the room was great. The hotel and rooms were very clean and I had a great night sleep. The hotel is in a great location within a 30 minute walk to many downtown sites. I highly recommend this hotel.
