Disgusting!!
It was walking distance to Trinity College, Temple Bar and many of the sites in Dublin.
This place was disgusting! The room was dirty, the bathroom smelled moldy and the carpet was so nasty, we were afraid to walk on it without shoes. Additionally, we almost got stuck in the lift because it was broken, but no one bothered to put up a sign! We were there for 3 days, and it was broken the entire time we stayed there. We never saw any maintenance people even attempting to repair it. This place was not family friendly as indicated!!

No complaints here - I've already recommended Avalon House to all my friends!
Thank you very much for your help and support! you are the best hotel in Dublin!
it was quite central to the city, staff very friendly, and reasonably quiet for the location.
it was advertised as a hotel.its not,its a hostel, and the booking out time of 10 o clock is just to early and very inconvenient,11 or 12 would be more appropriate.
central position - friendly staff
24 hour desk and kitchen for everyone
difficult to get online in the room , always only can use wifi in the lobby
Is always open, the staff helped us very much, with buses, travels, taxis. Is very close to the center of this beautifull city and country. And they sent me back to France the stuff I forgot in the room (with my own charges, but done!)
I had a little problem with the total price, I had to pay double, but in the end, they gave back to me my money...
great atmosphere and staff, easy to reach
no wifi in room, silly taps, poor cleanliness
location, the staff was very nice
very mall room, the water not very hot, the room not nice at all, cold.
