Overview

The 'Bilderdijk', a stylishly hotel with very comfortable rooms, is located in the middle of a peaceful area, 400 meters from the beach. We consider personal service and warm hospitality self-evident. We serve a royal breakfast buffet. There is a coastal tram service providing easy connection between De Haan and other seaside cities such as Oostende and Blankenberge.

Guests consistently praised the hotel's friendly and welcoming service, with many mentioning the kindness of the staff and the warm, homely atmosphere. The breakfast received high marks for quality, freshness, and variety, often described as delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The location was highlighted as convenient and peaceful, close to the beach and town center. Cleanliness was also noted positively, with rooms described as very clean and well-maintained. However, some guests reported issues with bed comfort, particularly with old or uncomfortable mattresses, and a few mentioned small room sizes and minor amenities issues. Overall, the positives far outweighed the negatives, making the hotel a favorite for many repeat visitors.
