I got to Corpus a little early and wanted to check in around 2 o’clock and was told that they had plenty of rooms but they only checked people in at 4 o’clock and then I could pay $25 fee to check in 2 hours early. That was my first problem with the hotel. Then, when I did check in at 4 o’clock, I was in a hurry and there was no iron in the room. I called the front desk and he got me an iron in an ironing board. I had forgotten my clothes at home and so had gone to get some new clothes at the store in Corpus. When I put the iron on my shirt, it left a big old stain on my shirt and had black stuff all over the iron. My shirt was ruined, and I had to wear another shirt. Then I looked at the bathtub. It was disgusting dirty. It was in disrepair and the hardware was on the side of the tub and there’s a big hole in the tub. Also, there was a big couch that was made of leather and was disgusting as well. I took pictures though I’m not able to put them here. I will never go to this hotel again I would read it a half a star.

Cons:I reserved 2 non smoking rooms and I get there and they give me 1 room smoking and the other non smoking. Next time I'd rather pay more to get what I want. Rooms where stinky and not vacuumed. Sooo not satisfied with this place at all. And they tried saying that I only reserved 1 room whenever I had my confirmation for 2 rooms 1 night..

Pros:It was cheap.
Cons:The pool was not clean, it was cloudy and gross. We did not swim in it. We did not have hot water for two day of our three day stay. They had roaches. They were suppose to have internet, they did not. When I asked if they did have wifi, the lady nachalauntly told me that maybe I should move closer to the front desk. We will not be staying here ever again. I know we did not pay much for the room but that does not excuse the crappy hotel stay.

Pros:Staff was very nice. The Mexican restaurant attached to this hell hole is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. To sum it up, crappy hotel, awesome restaurant.
Cons:Room was dirty. Roach infested. Carpet was so dirty, after just 30 minutes of walking around Barefoot, my kids feet looked like they had been playing outside in the dirt. Walls were dirty. No toilet paper, the complementary coffee came with no cups. Everything about the room was awful.

Cons:The beds were very uncomfortable. The sheets were old, the covers were cheap. For $90 you get what uou pay for.
