Had to book an overnight layover stay. $200+ later we had an outdated room with popcorn ceilings, a dirty toilet, and a tub that was clogged. Needless to say showering was massively uncomfortable between 3 adults and 1 kid. We tried switching our room but the hotel (and all hotels in the area) were sold out. Cons (-) Arrived at midnight to find my room was given away. I was then "walked" to another hotel - a Red Roof 40 minutes away. With traffic the next morning I had missed most of the first day of my conference.
Pros (+) The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was great, I even enjoyed the egg and cheese omelette (I can't usually stomach hotel eggs). The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons (-) The only thing that I didn't like was having to pay $10 for parking.
