When driving in Tübingen, the best car choice will vary based on specific factors, including the number of travellers and the amount of luggage. For two or three people with limited luggage, a compact car is an excellent option. It can easily manoeuvre through narrow city streets and fit into tight parking spaces. Moreover, compact cars are highly fuel-efficient, making them a cost-effective choice. However, if your plan involves exploring the countryside, an SUV vehicle provides reliability and versatility.
In Tübingen, it’s paramount that you do not exceed the speed limits. In built-up areas and residential zones, the speed limit is typically 50 km/h. Look out for signs indicating changes in speed limits, as this may be the case on certain roads. On non-urban roads, the speed limit is usually 100 km/h, unless otherwise indicated by traffic signs. On the German “autobahn”, which is the highway, there are some sections with no speed limits. However, many sections do have posted speed limits, and it's essential to adhere to those signs. The speed limit on the autobahn can vary from 80 km/h to 130 km/h, depending on the specific section.

Pros:Location was close to The village I was living in.
Cons:I did my booking almost 3 weeks before my travel, with prepaid all the amount.I had booked luxury SUV but they gave me sedan instead. I was traveling with baby and stroller, sedan boot space was not enough for my luggage. They had no other car instead, when I asked them to upgrade, they said no, they asked me to travel to Stuttgart airport location which was 50 kms away on my own to see other options if I need. So with kids they wanted me travel to 50 kms to get another car, which was ridiculous. Other than that Sedan I got had too many scratches and dents. Not very cool option to have on vacation. Not sure if SIXT has any focus on customer service but I have decided not to book with SIXT ever.
