In Sydney, compact or mid-size cars are popular. These fuel-efficient, manoeuvrable cars are easy to park. They're great for city driving and scenic drives. Hiring an SUV or crossover may be a good idea if you want to explore Sydney's rugged terrain or go on outdoor adventures. These vehicles have more space, ground clearance, and traction, which can help on unpaved roads. In winter, an AWD or 4WD vehicle can improve stability and traction in snowy or icy conditions. Consider hiring an AWD or 4WD vehicle if you visit in winter or plan to explore rough roads.
Urban areas, including residential and commercial areas, usually have a speed limit of 50 km/h (31 mph). This speed limit is enforced to protect pedestrians, cyclists, and other vehicles in densely populated areas. Most rural roads and highways outside urban areas have an 80 km/h (50 mph) speed limit. This speed limit speeds up open-road travel while ensuring safety. Major highways and expressways have speed limits of 100 km/h (62 mph) or higher, depending on the road and signage. These higher speed limits allow faster traffic flow on well-designed, controlled highway sections.
Sydney provides on-street parking in several locations. Depending on the location, on-street parking fees and time restrictions may change. Look for any parking restrictions or time limits on the signage. Sydney offers a variety of car parks. Parking in these locations can be expensive but, on average, it costs around C$2 (£1.53) per hour and C$15 (£11.45) per day. The Prince Street Parkade, the Sydney Justice Center car park, and the Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion car park are well-known car parks.

Website gave me a car but when we got to the place they said they have no cars? This has happened twice in our vacation and has runed most of our vacation. Stuck on PEI Island for 3 days with out a car when we had a confirmation number and all... apparently it doesn't mean anything10.0 Wonderful

Great staff, was all very good!Cons:
Nothing better then going home to good hospitality. And the comments on the side that I can see are exactly the same comments about the Hamilton, Ontario location. I am finding that to be not the truth.9.6 Wonderful

Pros:
Super friendly and they actually answered the local phone to assist us prior to our cruise ship arrival! At the counter they were fantastic, made sure we had all the info to make the most of our one-day rental in Sydney.Cons:
They had pickup from the ship/harbor, but were closed at after noon on a Sunday so we had to take a cab back to the ship. Only $10 but shuttle both ways would be extra grand.10.0 Wonderful

Pros:
It was very convenient to get to the location as there was a shuttle that we saw just as we exited the ship at the port of Sydney. The car was clean and comfortable and we really liked the fact that they had pre-printed directions for some of the most popular sites in the area—and the car had Sat Nav as well.10.0 Wonderful
