Great location and very clean Will come again
Awesome staff, great restaurant, and affordable price.
It’s not really the fault of the hotel, but more of the value and poor police presence. Starting on Friday night, street thugs raced anything and everything with a open exhaust up and down the streets till 3 am. And if you wanted to sleep it was impossible. After a really bad night on Friday, it started again on Saturday and went till 2:30 am. We even talked to a bell captain and he said it happens every weekend and the police just let it happen. For what we paid for the room and that some others we spoke to that stayed at a nicer hotel and for less and no street noise, I will never go back. We even talked to two police officers and they said there is a “no chance policy” and their hands were tied. Charlotte city officials and Mayor should be Ashamed! I will never go back and tell anyone who asks how it was to tell them what a horrible experience it was. And Btw, it happened on Sunday as well just not as many and to 12:30.
They didn’t bother to tell us that there was an event going on at their rooftop lounge when we checked in. When we got to the elevator to go to our room, the events coordinator told us that there was an event going on but we could go up after 5pm to check out the rooftop lounge. We went up to the roof at 6:15 and the event was still going on so we didn’t even go out on the roof to look but went back to our room. They have a pool on the roof but there were no signs and the staff didn’t bother to tell us that it was out of commission. The location of the hotel was alright but kept getting awakened by vehicles speeding down the street. Thought there would be breakfast provided but there wasn’t. Had to pay $22.00 for parking and the staff told me that was the discounted price for parking.
Pros. Rooftop pool. Parking validation.
Pros. Front desk host was awesome!
Cons. The heating/air is HORRRIBLEE!! Blows directly on you while sleeping and not stable heat as it blows cold air when climate control temperature reached..woke up with dry sore throat. SUPER CHEAP shortcut to comfort. Need to re-think this!!
